About the Event
We’re proud to announce that Old Eighteen Defense will be bringing our 2025 Series Tactical Biathlon to the iconic NRA Whittington Center, located in the hills of Raton, New Mexico. Known for its rugged beauty and world-class facilities, this challenging venue is the perfect setting for what promises to be an unforgettable competition.
About the Tactical Biathlon
The Tactical Biathlon is a 2-gun endurance shooting event where competitors carry both a rifle and pistol across a 6–8 mile course featuring multiple stages. This format tests not only marksmanship but also physical endurance, adaptability, and mental toughness.
Course Highlights:
Competitors are assigned unique start times.
No resupply is allowed once on the course.

Range Officers have the opportunity to stay on-site at the NRA Whittington Center for just $75 per night (up to a 3-night maximum). This option keeps you close to the action and ensures you're well-rested and ready for the event. Rooms have been held specifically for RO's. You're welcome to find accommodations elsewhere if you prefer. If you'd like to stay on-site, just let us know when registering. We’re excited to have you on board and thank you for helping us run a smooth event!!

This ticket grants you entry to the Series Event on Saturday, Sept 13th. The course will begin at 7:30 AM. A complete runner list with start times will be emailed out two weeks prior to the event. Please check your email and prepare accordingly. The NRA Whittington Center has on-site lodging available beginning Thursday, September 11th for the duration of the event. You must contact the NRA Whittington Center to book your stay. You're also welcome to make other lodging arrangements as well.
